ASFERA (the French Association for Aerosol Studies and Research) is organizing the 40th French Aerosol Congress on March 16 and 17, 2027, in Paris. This annual event brings together researchers, industry representatives, and institutional experts to discuss the latest advances in science, technology, and the impacts related to aerosols.
Six key themes form the framework for this edition: airborne biological agents, emerging pollutants and indicators (microplastics, PFAS, oxidizing potential), artificial intelligence applied to aerosol science, digital twins, aerosols and AASQA, and semi-volatile aerosols. The sessions will also cover metrology, filtration, indoor and workplace air quality, combustion aerosols, and manufactured nanoparticles. An exhibition area featuring measurement equipment will be set up near the conference room for the duration of the conference.
The call for papers is now open: articles of 2 to 4 pages must be submitted by November 13, 2026; authors will be notified of the decision on January 8, 2027.
