On October 14, 2026, the Ministry of Ecological Transition will host the 12th annual National Air Quality Day (JNQA). This annual event aims to raise public awareness of the importance of the air we breathe, both indoors and outdoors.

This year, National Air Quality Day (JNQA) is being held as part of the 30th anniversary of the LAURE Act, the founding legislation for air quality monitoring in France.

Local governments, organizations, businesses, and schools are invited to propose educational events between October 5 and 23, 2026, and to list them on the dedicated national platform.
