On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the Observatory for Indoor Environmental Quality (OQEI) is hosting a free online webinar (registration required). The OQEI is jointly managed by the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) and the Scientific and Technical Center for Building (CSTB).
This session examines how occupancy patterns, daily activities, and the housing environment influence indoor air quality, health, and comfort in the context of climate change.
Three presentations are scheduled: recent findings from studies conducted on French housing by the OQEI; new challenges posed by climate change to housing and its occupants, presented by the CSTB; and finally, the adaptation of cities and buildings to extreme heat, presented by Santé publique France through the Urbanisme Bâti Chaleur Santé network. The event is part of the National Air Quality Day program.
