AEROPHILE
AEROPHILEfounded in 1993, is the world leader in large captive balloon helium balloon and inventor of the Aerobar. After 10 years of research at Balloon de Paris Generali, particularly around the measurement of air pollution in Paris, Aérophile engineers have developed the Para-PM, an innovative air purification system particularly suited to large open or semi-open spaces.
Para-PM is an innovative system for capturing fine particles in open spaces (https://www.parapm.org), which captures 95% of fine particless PM10, PM2.5 and down to PM0.1. It unique technologypatented technology, based on the principles of intense electrostatic phenomena.
Para-PM technology was notably chosen to purify the air in the Place des Athlètes during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Modular, the Para-PM is particularly well-suited to depolluting spaces such as school playgrounds, subways, urban squares, construction sites, sports facilities, underground parking lots, logistics centers...
It was developed after 10 years' experience and research in Paris with the Qualité de l'Air Generali balloon, a veritable flying laboratory for measuring air quality from 0 to 300 m altitude in real time. A partner of Airparif, the Qualité de l'Air Generali balloon changes color via its LED illumination to indicate pollution levels, based on the ATMO reference index, and thus informs Parisians in real time about the air they breathe: https://www.aerophile.com/ballon-qualite-de-lair/
