As a partner to numerous public and private players, BRGM places scientific research, expertise and innovation at the heart of its activities. Its activities meet 4 objectives:
understand geological phenomena and associated risks,
develop new methodologies and techniques,
produce and disseminate data for soil, subsoil and resource management,
provide the tools needed to manage soil, subsoil and resources, prevent risks and pollution, and implement policies to respond to climate change.
