Hawa Mayotte is the association approved to monitor air quality in Mayotte since December 15, 2014 and a member of the Atmo France network. It is made up of four member colleges:
The State, represented by the DEAL of Mayotte
Local authorities, represented by Mr Abdou RACHADI
Representatives of activities contributing to the emission of monitored substances, represented by Électricité De Mayotte (EDM)
Environmental and consumer protection associations, represented by Naturalistes de Mayotte

Monitoring compliance with European, national and regional regulations.
Information and awareness-raising on air quality for the public and decision-makers.
Acquisition of data useful for implementing prevention policies.
Increase knowledge of air pollution and its effects.
