PlanetWatch24 (Pollutrack)

PlanetWatch24: Pollutrack, the first mobile network of laser micro-sensors for street-by-street PM2.5 mapping.

PlanetWatch24 was founded in 2008 by experts in sustainable development to launch the 24 Heures des Véhicules Ecologiques in Le Mans, an event concept that was the precursor of Formula E.

It was then transformed into a Think Tank Factory with the aim of designing, testing and supporting resolutely innovative projects at the Health & Environment interface.

To coincide with COP21, and in close collaboration with the Mairie de Paris and Autolib', PlanetWatch24 has designed Pollutrack, a world first, to track PM2.5 fine particles street by street, in real time and with vehicle-mounted laser micro-sensors, measured directly at the breathing level of pedestrians, cyclists, joggers...
