In 2021, the Défis Bâtiment Santé will take stock of actions, innovations and achievements that have integrated health considerations into recycling, reuse and re-employment operations in the building products and equipment sector.
Among the many themes for which a health assessment is now essential :

• Second-life building materials, recycled landscaping products, reused furniture: what are the health impacts? How can we guarantee their safety for users?
• Waste traceability and diagnostics: what role does health play in the methodology?
• Responsible purchasing in the construction industry: what about environmental health?
• Assessing reuse operations: what are the issues for indoor air quality?
• Eco-design and the life cycle: how to take health into account right from the idea stage?
• From planning to construction, from land to buildings: what new competences and distribution of responsibilities between players?
