The "Respire" symposium, organized by the DMLab (Laboratoire du design des milieux de l'ENSAD, École nationale supérieure d'art et de design de Nancy), will take place on September 22 and 23, 2022, at the Artem Campus in Nancy.

The event features :

• take an interest in new ways of learning about the air we breathe, and develop a sensitive culture of air quality;
• to present projects exploring ways of reconnecting with the sensory perception of air.

Organized around three axes, the symposium will examine the relationship between measuring instruments and sensory perception, somatic and artistic research on breathing, research on "breathing" materials and atmospheric design and architecture projects.

The symposium is organized around the following three themes.

1. Measuring instrument and sensory perception
2. Somatic and artistic research on breathing
3. Atmospheric design materials and projects
