From June 1 to 3, 2026, the Campus PariSanté, Paris 15th, will host the ASES2 symposium – “Health and the environment, reconciling science, society and political action”, organized with the support of Inserm, CEA and CNRS.
Inspired by the first edition of ASES in 2023, devoted to climate and energy, this three-day symposium brings together scientists, political decision-makers, journalists, doctors and practitioners. Discussions will revolve around thematic roundtables on the interactions between science and politics, “Grand Témoin” conferences on issues such as biodiversity and human health, and collaborative brainstorming workshops aimed at identifying obstacles and formulating concrete recommendations.
The four scientific themes structuring the discussions are :
- identifying and quantifying environmental exposure;
- analysis of the mechanisms by which these exposures affect health;
- modeling and anticipating environmental health risks;
- and strategies for prevention, protection and remediation.
