On September 22, 2026, in Paris (13th arrondissement), APPA (Association pour la Prévention de la Pollution Atmosphérique) is organizing the 3rd National FEES Day – Pregnant Women, Environment and Health – for healthcare professionals.
For the past fifteen years, the FEES Project has been working on the issue of pollutants in indoor air, food and cosmetics, and their effects on pregnant women and infants. The vulnerability of these groups to environmental exposure during the first 1,000 days of life is now well documented, notably through the DOHaD (Developmental Origins of Health and Disease) mechanism.
This third national event will broaden the focus to include emerging issues such as pre-conceptional exposure, infertility and the impact of climate change on exposure. It will feature scientific presentations, research projects and feedback from concrete local experiences. The day is exclusively face-to-face, with no replay. The registration fee is 25 euros, including access to all sessions, lunch, coffee breaks and documentation.
