CRES PACA is organizing the second session of the webinar "Domiscore: a housing health score" on Thursday, November 25, 2021, from 12pm to 1pm, with Dr Fabien Squinazi, medical biologist, former director of the Hygiene Laboratory of the City of Paris, member of the High Council for Public Health.
This webinar, aimed at health, environmental and social professionals, is offered as part of PRSE 3 and funded by ARS Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
The Covid-19 crisis is a reminder of the extent to which housing quality is a major social issue, particularly in terms of health, as well as its considerable inequalities.
On average, people spend 80% of their time in their homes and/or in confined spaces. Several provisions in the legislation aim to preserve the health of households in their habitat. As part of the ELAN law of November 23, 2018 on the evolution of housing, development and the digital economy, the Ministry of Health asked the Haut Conseil de la santé publique (HCSP) to develop a tool to characterize a habitat in terms of the positive or negative impacts it may induce on the health and well-being of its occupants. Domiscore, a tool for promoting healthy living and identifying at-risk housing situations, has been designed for use by a wide range of people: indoor environment advisors, elected representatives and local authority officials, private landlords, real estate agents, social housing operators, etc. What does the tool look like? What criteria are evaluated to characterize the habitat? What is the purpose of this tool?
