On Wednesday January 26, from 5:30pm to 7pm, the Fondation Rovaltain is organizing a conference for the general public entitled "Particules fines dans l'air: Des composés nanométriques aux impacts planétaires".
Coming from erosion or combustion processes, in our chimneys or cars, ultrafine particles modify atmospheric composition, alter air quality, give rise to cloud formation or interact with light, affecting the climate and are a vector of mortality. But how do they do this?
This presentation will review our current knowledge of the sources, chemistry and impact of ultrafine particles in the air.
Conference presented by Christian GEORGE, Deputy Director at IRCELYON - Institut de Recherches sur la Catalyse et l'Environnement de Lyon | CNRS - Université de Lyon 1
Location: Latour Maubourg site, Condorcet amphitheatre, 87, avenue de Romans, Valence
