We're organizing a seminar (with 4 lectures) in the town of Martigues on Wednesday October 12 from 5pm to 7pm at the Salle Dufy to present the progress of the MISTRAL study, the largest participatory citizen study ever carried out on environmental health, in particular the link between air quality and respiratory illnesses. The study examines the links between pollution, pollen and respiratory illnesses. Ultimately, this study will enable us to develop appropriate prevention tools.
As our study focused primarily on the Etang de Berre and the cities of Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, we immediately thought of the city of Martigues, given its size, its geographical position, its dynamism in the Health and Environment sectors, and also the collaborations initiated in 2022 with the city's departments.
On this occasion, we will also be presenting the DIAMS sensors proposed by the Metropole of Aix Marseille Provence, and discussing with citizens, patients and healthcare professionals how these sensors can be used on a daily basis to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from allergic rhinitis or asthma.
