On November 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the CNFPT Grand Est is organizing a one-day event focused on air quality, in partnership with Atmo Grand Est. The event will take place at the CNFPT’s Bas-Rhin branch, located at 1 rue Edmond Michelet in Strasbourg.
The goal: to help local governments make use of local air quality data, which remains largely underutilized. The morning session focuses on health and regional issues, interpreting Atmo indicators, and the methodology for conducting an initial assessment. The afternoon consists of two hands-on workshops: one on conducting an assessment using real-world datasets, and the other on identifying actionable strategies in the areas of transportation, urban planning, housing, and green spaces.
The event is primarily intended for municipalities and EPCIs with fewer than 80,000 residents: staff members responsible for ecological transition, climate, and air quality; officials from departments of urban planning, housing, transportation, parks and recreation, and agriculture; as well as elected officials accompanying a staff member from their local government.
