Radon penetration in buildings is the result of environmental parameters (soil concentration, soil permeability and humidity...) as well as the building's own characteristics (construction process, ventilation system...) and the ventilation habits of its occupants.
In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, the departments of Alpes de Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes and Var are exposed to radon.
How do you assess the risk? What are the current radon regulations? How can I reduce my exposure? What preventive and corrective action should be taken?
To answer all these questions, CRES PACA is organizing the webinar "How to assess and prevent radon risk?"
- November 10 and December 9, 2022, from 12pm to 1pm
- with contributions from Dimitri Galigné, health studies engineer, Agence Régionale de Santé Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur
- and Eric Pourtain, deputy director and head of the technological risks division of the Centre d'information pour la prévention des risques majeurs (Cyprès), to present its work with local authorities.
Following their presentations, the speakers will answer questions from web users live.
This webinar, aimed at elected representatives and engineers from local authorities, as well as health, environmental and social professionals, is proposed within the framework of PRSE 3 and financed by ARS Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
