Arp-Astrance is organizing a webinar dedicated to natural ventilation on December 15, 2022 from 11am to 12:30pm.
Against a backdrop of growing awareness of indoor air quality issues, accentuated by the recent COVID period, ventilation is becoming an increasingly central element of building comfort. Increased airflow rates are leading to higher energy consumption, which in some cases is becoming the main source of energy costs, raising the question of how to reduce them. Natural ventilation appears to be the answer.
Moreover, global warming is leading to an increase in summertime discomfort and associated cooling requirements. This raises the question of alternative solutions to air conditioning in order to limit energy consumption. Here too, natural ventilation appears to be an appropriate, low-energy solution.
During this webinar, we'll explain the different types of natural ventilation and associated systems, their advantages and constraints, and the opportunities they represent for meeting today's challenges.
The presentation will take place as follows:
- What's the difference between comfort and hygienic ventilation?
- Evaluate a site's potential in relation to the project,
- Types of natural ventilation,
- Assets and constraints.
This webinar will be presented by Xavier Lassudrie Duchêne, Project Director in ARP Astrance's Responsible Real Estate division.
