Mutualité Française Bretagne is organizing a webinar entitled "Indoor air quality: radon in my home?", on November 29, 2022, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
Naturally present in the earth's crust, radon, a colorless, odorless radioactive gas, can be harmful to health in excessive concentrations. This can be the case in enclosed spaces, particularly homes, depending on the characteristics of the soil and buildings, as well as the type of ventilation and heating.
However, the measures you can take to protect yourself from radon can be as simple as goodventilation or daily airing, which are usually enough to dilute the radon in the air. What's more, radon levels in your home can be measured very easily, and simple, inexpensive measures can be put in place.
To find out more, Mutualité Française Bretagne, in partnership with the association Approche Eco Habitat, invites you to an online conference on this subject, which is important to take into account in Brittany. The conference is free of charge, but registration is required.
