Air Liquide France Industrie
Air Liquide is a world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health. Present in 80 countries with some 67,000 employees, the Group serves more than 3.7 million customers and patients. Oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen are small molecules essential to life, matter and energy. They embody Air Liquide's scientific territory and have been at the heart of the Group's business since its creation in 1902.
Air Liquide acts as a good corporate citizen to protect the environment and health, with the aim of preventing global warming and improving air quality. Its day-to-day commitment is reflected in concrete actions such as :
- Protecting the most fragile by offering solutions for monitoring air quality in establishments receiving a sensitive public, particularly schools. Since 2013, a range of COFRAC-accredited gas mixtures has been available for calculating CO₂ containment indices, which highlight poor ventilation detrimental to pupils' academic abilities.
- Protect human health by enabling manufacturers whose facilities are classified for environmental protection (ICPE) to measure their emissions of pollutants into the air. Air Liquide supplies the pure gases, standard mixtures and equipment needed to monitor these emissions in line with the 2010 EU directive on industrial emissions (known as "IED").
- Participate in ambient air quality monitoring in accordance with the decree of April 19, 2017, by providing AASQA with very low-level gas mixtures that enable its quality to be assessed for regulated pollutants (NO2,NOx,SO2,CO,C6H6...).
Air Liquide is also committed to innovation through Group R&D and collaborative innovation platforms, imagining and designing solutions to improve indoor and outdoor air quality.
