Our laboratories' expertise in this field is designed to provide answers to today's most pressing challenges, which are to develop surface materials that emit less volatile pollutants, are capable of destroying odors and pollutants, or are sufficiently sensitive to pollutants to enable them to be identified and measured.
What we do:
Development of surface materials that emit fewer volatile pollutants (adhesives, paints or paint components, varnishes, polymers, composites, bio-based materials, construction materials, etc.).
Creation of surfaces to remove odors and pollutants (gases and particles) from the air (filters and membranes, catalytic and photo-catalytic treatments, trapping and adsorption, plasma, etc.).
Development of sensitive layers for sensors and devices for identifying and measuring air pollutants and odors outdoors or in confined environments (public places, meeting rooms, apartments, car or aircraft interiors, etc.).
