Citepa is a non-profit-making association under the French Law of 1901, and a state-operated operator on behalf of the French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition. It meets France's reporting obligations for emissions of atmospheric pollutants and greenhouse gases under the various UNFCCC, EMEP, Kyoto Protocol and UN-ECE inventory formats.
What we do:
Citepa contributes to the fight against air pollution and climate change, by calculating, interpreting and communicating reliable emissions data to decision-makers and specialists in France and abroad.
Our inventory reports contribute to the transparency of the effects of climate and air quality policies and measures on emissions, and help public decision-making.
In France and internationally, it strengthens the ability of governments, regions, cities and businesses to design and report on their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and atmospheric pollutants, and to adapt to climate change.
