France Nature Environnement is the French federation of associations for the protection of nature and the environment. It is the spokesperson for a movement of 3,500 associations, grouped within 57 member organizations, present throughout France, in metropolitan and overseas territories.
What we do:
Federating: We make the voice of nature and environmental protection associations united in a single movement heard by public authorities, elected representatives, the media and civil society.
Influence: We are in constant dialogue with the whole of civil society and elected representatives, and advocate the cause of nature and the environment to "decision-makers".
Defend: To tackle the ecological crisis and prevent environmental damage, we deploy all the tools of democracy, from consultation procedures to legal action.
Information: To better protect nature and the environment, it's essential to understand their complexity. We are present in the field, militant and independent, and we carry out in-depth work.
Raising awareness: Since their creation, FNE's 3,500 member associations have been raising public awareness of nature and the environment throughout France. These actions represent an important part of their activity.
