The Fondation du Souffle, a research foundation, was recognized as a public utility establishment by decree on November 15, 2011.
The Foundation is entirely independent and carries out its missions thanks to the generosity of its donors. Its aim is to combat respiratory diseases and promote respiratory health.
It brings together learned societies, healthcare professionals and patients suffering from respiratory diseases, and is entirely devoted to the 3rd leading cause of death in France and worldwide.
What we do:
The Fondation du Souffle works daily on several fronts to combat respiratory diseases:
By subsidizing French scientific research in pneumology.
By providing financial support (via social assistance) to the most vulnerable respiratory patients.
And by carrying out prevention and information campaigns on respiratory diseases for the general public.
