The Plasma and Energy Conversion Laboratory (LAPLACE) is a joint research unit of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INPT) and the Université Toulouse 3-Paul Sabatier (UPS).
Research at LAPLACE includes the study of the physical mechanisms of energy conversion, right through to the systems that implement them. The main areas of application include the production, transmission, management, conversion and use of electricity.

The laboratory boasts cutting-edge equipment and is home to recognized platforms (Hydrogen, etc.) and shared platforms (3DPHI platform), enabling it to cover an approach ranging from concept to demonstrator.
