LISA (Laboratoire Interuniversitaire des Systèmes Atmosphériques), UMR CNRS 7583, is a joint research unit of Université Paris-Est Créteil, Université de Paris and CNRS. It is part of the Observatoire des Sciences de l'Univers EFLUVE and the IPSL research federation.
One of LISA's major research activities is the study of photo-oxidative and particulate pollution. This issue is approached from a variety of angles, some of them cross-disciplinary. Our activities focus on the multi-scale characterization of pollutants and their precursors, as well as their recent and future evolution. We are also interested in their impact, whether on health or on heritage materials. Based on this knowledge, we are also working on assessing and proposing air quality control strategies.
We have chosen to divide these activities into two distinct themes, depending on the spatial scale considered: "Urban pollution and impacts on heritage and health" and "Large-scale pollution: satellite observation and modelling".
