Thanks to its R&D team, Steril-Aire has succeeded in developing a patented range of high-intensity, germicidal ultraviolet C lamps, specifically designed for air-conditioning, ventilation and heating systems (HVAC, AHU, AHU) for air decontamination. Our system enables Steril-Aire UVCs to be integrated directly into any air-handling unit: central air handling unit, fan coil unit, cassette, ducted, split, duct, upstream or downstream of the coil, to act at the source of contamination. UVCs act as air purifiers inside the AHU casing, ductwork or air-handling cassette. Purifying the air at this level of the air handling system, Steril-Aire technology ensures decontaminated, purified and healthy air in environments.

In biological terms, UVC radiation with a spectrum of 253.7 nm has been proven to be the most bactericidal and virucidal. In fact, it is the leading germicide in the environment. Steril-Airemanufactures UVC with a 253.7 nm spectrum that does not fluctuate regardless of temperature, air speed or humidity level, which is why it is the most effective and why our UVCs release no ozone or secondary contaminants.

By reproducing this natural air purification process, UV-C disinfection neutralizes over 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and fungi. By integrating Steril-Aire 253.7 nm germicidal UVC lamps into air conditioning and ventilation systems, Steril-Aire's air purification technologyensures air decontamination of over 99.9%.
