Suez
SUEZ, a major player in environmental services for over 160 years, supports local authorities and industry every day in the management of essential services such as water, waste and air. The Group produces drinking water for 66 million people worldwide, creates 2 million tonnes of secondary raw materials a year and 3.1 TWh of renewable energy from waste.
To meet the challenges of ecological transition and climate change, SUEZ draws on the expertise and commitment of its 35,000 employees (notably in France, Italy, Central Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia) to offer high value-added, tailor-made environmental solutions to all its customers. In particular, its know-how enables customers to avoid emitting 4.2 million tonnes of CO2, thereby improving their carbon footprint and their impact on the climate.
With sales of almost 7 billion euros and backed by its expertise and capacity for innovation, SUEZ has strong growth prospects and is counting on a solid consortium of investors consisting of Meridiam, GIP and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations Group to pursue its development in France and abroad.
The Group invests in the design, development and operation of innovative air treatment solutions, in France and abroad, to enable manufacturers to reduce their environmental footprint and local authorities to improve air quality:
- Measurement tools to monitor, understand and diagnose air quality in a targeted environment (public place, industrial site, schoolyard, etc.);
- Experiments in environments sensitive to atmospheric pollution to improve breathing in underground rail enclosures such as a metro station, or close to a dense road zone;
- Treatment solutions inspired by nature and based on cutting-edge technologies.
