The EU is revising the Ambient Air Quality Directive, to align air quality standards more closely with the recommendations of the World Health Organization. To reach that goal we collectively need to imagine coherent and efficient actions such as deploying monitoring and modeling to provide good standardized data, triggering effective penalties and offering accessible solutions.

Improving the legislation on clean air represents a tangible way to protect citizen’s health and the environment as well as an opportunity to thrive both socially and economically.

Synergies will be key in making the European Green Deal and Air Quality a reality.
