The Association pour la Prévention de la Pollution Atmosphérique (APPA), supported by ADEME, ARS and DREAL Hauts-de-France, is organizing a national symposium on October 16 and 17, 2025 in Lille, bringing together local authorities, associations, researchers, urban planners, social landlords and health professionals.

Over two full days, the event will focus on recent concrete initiatives in the field, in Hauts-de-France and elsewhere, illustrating how public policies – urban planning, housing, environmental health – can be transformed into concrete actions aimed at sustainably improving air quality and protecting public health.

Key objectives :

• Share feedback from committed local authorities
• Present tools and approaches that can be replicated in other regions
• Strengthening local cooperation between players to drive the ecological and health transition
